For a while, I ran this website. The name comes from the Kurt Vonnegut quote, “I don’t know what it is about Hoosiers. But wherever you go there is always a Hoosier doing something very important there.”
Taking inspiration from David Lynch’s Interview Project, I wanted to get in touch with Hoosiers across the country and see what they were up to, as well as what Indiana meant to them. I interviewed artists, musicians, Broadway actors, comedians, the crossword editor for The New York Times, a professional skateboarder and many more. I also took Indiana-related contributions.
A Google Map was made to visualize the span of Hoosiers I got in touch with too.
A WordPress theme was used, but I did plenty of simple HTML editing to shape as needed.
Sadly, the site went down after I was too broke to afford the hosting fees. Yea, that broke. Fortunately I have some screen shots.
